The “Sketch Group” of the Little Hammam Project — part of Amasra’s Environmental and Cultural Heritage Protection efforts — held its first meeting. Students from Amasra High School and Amasra OTML, together with teachers and architects, set out under the slogan “Cities Belong to Their Children”. The young people, who will participate in local history research and photography alongside ÇEKÜL volunteers as part of the Little Hammam Project, will also work with architects on survey drawings. The first meeting, attended by volunteers from the Hammam’s Interactive Group and the New Function Group, resulted in planning for the next steps. Deputy Mayor Şinasi Demirok also attended the meeting and offered his support. Students will publish their first impressions of the project on this page. The work will continue with a Safranbolu trip, local history research, photography and sketch sessions. To follow this news and ÇEKÜL activities, visit https://cekul.amasra.net.
