Amasra Sofrası
Amasra Center · Karadeniz balığı, Türk mutfağı, Kahvaltı, Pide ve kebap · $$
Open all day in the town centre since 2005. A 140-seat indoor and garden restaurant serving breakfast through dinner — fish, kebab, pide and the famous Amasra Salad.
A Table Open from Morning to Night
Amasra Sofrası opened on 17 May 2005 and has since remained one of the town’s most accessible and wide-ranging restaurants. With 60 seats indoors and 80 in the open garden — 140 in total — it accommodates large groups and families comfortably.
A menu that runs all day
The restaurant’s most distinctive feature is uninterrupted service from morning until night:
Morning (07:30–11:00): A Black Sea village breakfast and hot soups. Herbed cheese, village butter and a range of preserves, served with fresh bread.
Midday (12:00–16:00): Daily vegetable and meat dishes, home-style stews. An affordable and filling lunch option.
Evening (17:00–23:00): The day’s fresh fish, a seafood table accompanied by the celebrated Amasra Salad. Pide and döner are also on the menu.
Signature dishes
- Amasra Salad — the region’s own recipe, with walnut and unripe grape molasses
- The day’s fresh fish — anchovy, bonito, whiting or bluefish, depending on the season
- Home-made desserts — a changing selection
- Pide and kebabs — for those looking for grilled meat instead
Groups and set meals
With space for 140, Amasra Sofrası also suits family gatherings, school trips and business meals. For large groups, booking ahead and discussing the menu in advance is recommended.
